Glass Sculpture
For 35 years I’ve played with and refined this simple but unique joinery system that allows glass to be unusually flexible & strong. Beveling the edges of all types of glass, I create neat silicone seams that join the pieces and look somewhat like a drawing within the larger glass sculpture. These joints make the whole sculpture quite resilient AndI love that the “broken parts” can be symbolically mended to create increased resilience, because my internal conversations are often about how I might better navigate the parts of life that are really tough and “shattering”.
