My glass figures are about being a woman and being embodied at this time on earth. Feeling fragile and resilient, I’ve developed a one-of-a kind silicone joinery system. This allows for the typically fragile medium of glass to be quite strong and flexible as it floats 1-2” off the wall on sturdy standoff screws. All the edges of glass are smoothly sanded to eliminate sharpness, making it very safe and comfortable to touch.
