Curvy Street Line Cocktail Napkins
This photo came from my “beautiful ugly” book and was taken during a time I was having profound experiences while seeing ordinary things on my daily neighborhood walks. It was a time when I was in much chronic pain but the ordinary things I was seeing around me appeared to be incredibly beautiful, like these curvy yellow & crackled street line and cracks. They looked more beautiful than anything I could do on any canvas with paint. I felt as though my surroundings were showing me the inherent beauty in ordinary moments.
