My glass sculptures often seem to express the strength and resilience I see that exists parallel to fragility. In this piece I celebrate the strength of trees by running tree and wind shaped seams through the whole sheet of glass, from edge to edge, with some spaces between. It feels a bit like the energy I see conducted by the trees in my neighborhood. I resonate deeply with them. They’re going through the same stresses we are and I’m really thankful that they show me their resilience.
