Mane

$800.00

36” x 26” x 2” glass, silicone, steel, 2023

A wearable glass headress or shawl is likely not going to catch on in the mainstream but I had so much fun dreaming of even more involved attire and even imagined seeing it on a red carpet. For me, letting myself have fun with my creative process is a spiritual practice. That childlike wonder and magic that happens when we connect with the creative realm can be deeply healing…or at least it is for me.

When I see this piece mounted on a wall I can see a lions mane, an elephannts head and trunk and even a womans hips and legs. What do you see?
