Strongly influenced by mid century modern design of my childhood that’s always a big part of my visual language, certain minimalist shapes from the era feel most like home to me. They feel biological, part of the basic structure and energy in nature and our bodies. This piece uses those shapes and also balances the elements that make up all of nature. Fire (sun/yellow), water (aqua blue), earth (wood) and metal (mirror). And the peach tone ripple glass represents our human skin/body.
