Please let me know if you’d like to schedule a viewing of these 8 new clouds at the beautiful healing center in Redwood City. Each with a unique character and color scheme, no two are alike. Made using the organically shaped ends of the larges sheets of stained glass, they are a normal part of all stained glass production. Typically these parts are cut away as “scraps” in order to market perfectly rectangular sheets of glass. I find their curvaceous edges to be super interesting, beautiful and alive. These unpredictable shapes feel as though natural forces created them, like wind, water or fiery lava flows. And when two are joined together they create a cloud shape with a central “horizon line” like the ones I find so nourishing to gaze at in nature.
*these pieces can easily be reversed or inverted for display depending on your preference. They can also be mounted on a walk with overhead lighting for beautiful effect.
