My glass figures are about being an embodied woman/human at this time on earth. Feeling both fragile and resilient, I’ve developed a one of a kind silicone joinery system that allows for this typically fragile medium to be quite strong and flexible as it floats inches off the wall on sturdy standoff screws. All edges of glass are smoothly sanded to eliminate sharpness, making it safe and pleasant to touch.
