Shaved Concrete Table Linens
Have you noticed that city maintenance crews often shave off places where a concrete has lifted up over the years to prevent tripping hazards? I have always loved seeing the aggregate of larger rocks and pebbles the are revealed where they grind the highs spots away. I find it so beautiful and reassuring that there’s a little bit of nature mixed in with the man made stuff in our world. When I tinkered with this photo I landed on a pattern that reminded me of my mom and dads cool mid century modern design tastes of my childhood. I love the variety of neutral colors and the geometric "line drawings” that the cracks in the concrete create.
